The Forest Light is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Southern Sweden, Blekinge.The surrounding area is know as "The Garden of Sweden" with good reason.
In the winter when all is made beautiful with a blanket of snow, suddenly, the spring arrives, and the forest comes alive with a carpet of flowers, the trees gradually turn from a pale translucent foliage to a deep shade of green, and walking on the many forest tracks will give you an understanding of the true meaning of "the sound of silence."

Sitting by one of the lakes which surround the Forest Light will bring a delightful view of geese, ducks and swans as they begin their yearly cycle of renewal. Walking quietly through the woodland may give you a glimpse of deer, wild turkeys, eagles and occasionally beavers busy building their respective homes ready for their young.

Walking the trails around The Forest Light or bathing in the many lakes is refreshing, relaxing and a powerful tonic for both body and mind.

The Forest Light (Skogsljuset kursgård in Swedish) has been open since 1996, and has welcomed people from many countries in Scandinavia and Europe.
